Job Description Summary The primary responsibility is to grow sales and develop the customer base for GE Critical Infrastructure Communications (CIC) portfolio in Grid Automation business within Utilities, Oil & Gas and Industry customers. Candidate is expected to develop the direct and indirect business, maintain customer and partners relations and transform leads into an order pipeline for telecommunications products and services within North Africa & Turkey cluster (NAFT). Reporting to MENAT Sales Leader for CIC. Job Description Roles And ResponsibilitiesFocus on our Utilities/Industry Telecom products and services for NAFT cluster. (Optical networks "MPLS-TP, IP-MPLS, SDH, PDH") , Power line carrier "PLC", Wireless, Tele protection, Industrial Switches, Boosters etc.)Build an opportunity pipeline and select, address and win on existing and new customers.Establish, cultivate and maintain customer relations at appropriate decision-maker levels.Maintain strong commercial relationship during the delivery of our systems towards his/her customersMonitor, analyze, and understand market activities to continuously update the business on all region dynamics including in-depth competitive assessments.Assist in the go-to-market strategy for new products, services or offerings.Orchestrate the answers to RFP and spontaneous or unsolicited offers with respect to the process in place.Support Negotiations of contracts and close deals.Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting; compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions;Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s Orders/Margin goals – Pipeline generation with leads identificationsPro-actively listen, learn and empower others to be successful and to inspire and lead to drive accountability and to deliver results with absolute integrityBe responsible for earning customer trust through solid execution – establish win/win partnerships and deepen relationships.Implement the execution framework on identified opportunities, which includes the orders forecasting to deal closure.Manage assigned initiatives to maximize long-term to maximize profitability.Create processes to seek new and / or additional income / business development opportunities.Develop effective market and transactional strategies inline with the business objectives.Required QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, Technology or related discipline preferably Electrical/Telecom Engineering.Minimum 7-10 years of sales success experience with proven track record of consistently achieving targets.English and Arabic Speaking is a must, French speaking is an advantage.Excellent knowledge in Wireless communications including private 4G/5G and UHF.Possesses excellent knowledge and skillset in Telecommunications solutions for Utilities & Industry.Shows a great understanding of the Telecom market landscape for Utilities in NAFT region.Strong negotiation and deal closing skills.Experience in conducting market assessments, developing and implementing relevant commercial strategies that facilitate market penetration.Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills.Customer focused.Must be willing to travel 50% of time.Desired CharacteristicsStrong interpersonal skills, including creativity and curiosity with ability to effectively communicate and influence solution direction to both technical and non-technical audiences alike across all organizational levels.Ability to develop and execute on growth plans while meeting short term business objectives.Comfortable selling to the Oil & Gas industry and fully aware with their cycle.
