Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Overseeing the academic and pastoral development of students within the designated key stage.
- Collaborating with teachers and staff to develop and implement the curriculum.
- Providing instructional leadership and support to teachers.
- Monitoring student progress and implementing interventions as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with educational standards and policies.
- Supporting the professional development of teachers and staff.
- Communicating effectively with parents and stakeholders.
- Participating in school leadership meetings and committees.
- Contributing to the overall strategic planning and vision of the school.
Education:Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a relevant discipline preferred.Experience:Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in an international British or American school setting.At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or management role within an educational institution.Experience in curriculum development, implementation, and assessment.Familiarity with international education standards and practices.Certification:Teaching certification/license from a recognized authority.Leadership qualification or certification preferred (e.g., or equivalent).Skills:Excellent leadership and management abilities.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to foster a positive learning environment.Proficiency in educational technology and digital learning tools.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Organizational and time management skills.Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic educational environment.Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.Knowledge:Thorough understanding of British or American educational systems and frameworks.Knowledge of current trends and best practices in international education.Familiarity with assessment methodologies and data-driven decision-making.Understanding of child development principles and educational psychology.
