  • Quality Auditor Lead is responsible for administration and performance monitoring of Audit program functional areas by conducting completed audit life-cycle, overseeing strategic planning, team development, reporting, evaluations, risk mitigation, and business development.
  • Leads and manages Subsurface Technical Quality Department audit projects, including planning, execution, reporting, and closeout.
  • Develops and implements specific audit schedules, plans, programs and procedures to evaluate the effectiveness of contractor controls.
  • Leads audit and surveillance of functional or operational areas. Provides assessment of new facilities to determine Contractor capability.
  • Gathers and analyzes quality system information, including documentation, reports, flowcharts and other data, to identify opportunities to improve performance or resolve problems.
  • Provides guidance and support to junior auditors and review their work for accuracy and compliance with auditing standards.
  • Monitors audit closure activities to ensure correct and timely closure.
  • Prepares audit/surveillance reports; assists in root cause analysis and development of corrective/preventive action plans as required; performs follow up audits to determine completeness and effectiveness of corrective/preventive actions.
  • Participates and facilitates, as required, in Quality partnering meetings with Internal and External Customers.
  • Engineering Degree or equivalent.
  • ISO 9001: Lead Auditor training certification (or able to obtain).
  • Thorough knowledge of API Q1 and Q2.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in an Oil and Gas environment, with a minimum of 5 years auditing experience. Knowledge and experience in Six Sigma methodologies, and developing, implementing, and managing continuous improvement projects is desired.
