Profile Middle East is looking for: Instrumentation Commissioning Engineer.
MISSION:
Responsible for commissioning and overseeing the installation and maintenance of Instrumentation, Automation / Control systems.
TASKS:
- Collaborating with project teams to develop and refine commissioning strategies for instrumentation systems, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client requirements;
- Overseeing the integration of instrumentation systems, including field instruments, control valves, transmitters, and DCS, ensuring seamless communication and functionality;
- Planning, coordinating, and executing loop checking activities to ensure proper installation and connection of instrumentation devices;
- Verifying the functionality and integrity of control loops according to project specifications and industry standards;
- Ensuring accurate calibration and configuration of instrumentation devices to meet project requirements and maintain compliance with industry standards;
- Developing and executing comprehensive testing procedures to validate the performance and reliability of instrumentation systems;
- Conducting thorough inspections and functional tests to identify and rectify any issues;
- Providing technical expertise and guidance in diagnosing and resolving issues related to instrumentation systems;
- Conducting root cause analysis for identified discrepancies and implement corrective actions;
- Generating comprehensive commissioning documentation, including test reports, system validation records, and as-built drawings;
- Providing regular updates on commissioning progress and results;
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols, industry regulations, and relevant standards in all commissioning activities;
- Promoting a culture of safety awareness and best practices within the commissioning team.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering;
- 15+ years of experience in Oil and Gas plant with multidiscipline experience in carrying out commissioning / shutdown / Tie-in jobs in operating Plants involving automation / control system, cryogenic tanks, loading arms;
- Should be familiar with completion management tools like ICAPS / WIN pcs;
- Should be familiar with OPERCOM methodology for the smooth handover of facility.
