Reports to: Contractor Electrical Engineer

Primary Purpose Of The Job

Independently carryout all assigned activities for maintenance and testing of Power and Distribution Transformer, to meet quality targets and focus on meeting quality of all jobs carried-out are completed properly and safe to closeout prior to energize after TA jobs.

• KEY TASKS AND RESULTS:
  

Independently carrying out safely all assigned tasks for the maintenance and testing of Power and Distribution Transformer in each deadline.

Reporting functions/Test reports and Checklists to Contractor Electrical Supervisor

• PROBLEM SOLVING/COMPLEXITY:
  

Good knowledge of Electrical Circuits and drawings and Electrical Safety.

• SUPERVISION AND DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY:
  

Leadership qualities to Independently do any electrical jobs in the Plant in an effective & efficient manner to achieve the desired company /divisional objectives and implement good Electrical Safety standards.

• KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
  

EDUCATION: Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

BACKGROUND: Experience as Electrical Technician in maintenance and or testing of power and distribution Transformers and associated systems in the petrochemical industry with minimum 2years at Sr. Technician I level.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Good knowledge using a variety of electrical tools and equipment such as measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment. Good knowledge in troubleshooting and reading of electrical diagrams/schematics.

Good knowledge of English, both written and oral. Good understanding of Electrical standards is essential.

EXPERIENCE: 3 years
