We are hiring a Mechanical Engineer – Facilities Management / HVAC to support building facilities operations and maintenance. The role is suitable for a junior mechanical engineer with 0–3 years of experience and a strong interest in HVAC, MEP, and building maintenance. The role will focus on supporting the operation, inspection, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC and mechanical systems within building facilities. This includes HVAC equipment, pumps, piping networks, valves, water heaters, and other mechanical building systems. The uploaded JD also highlights FM mechanical systems such as pumps, piping networks, valves, water heaters, STP/RO plants, lift stations, and related facility equipment.
Key Responsibilities Support daily operation and maintenance of HVAC and mechanical systems in building facilities. Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities for HVAC, pumps, piping networks, valves, and related mechanical equipment. Conduct site inspections and report mechanical/HVAC issues, risks, and required corrective actions. Troubleshoot basic HVAC and mechanical system faults and coordinate with technicians, supervisors, and vendors. Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and technical documents. Monitor equipment performance and support maintenance reporting, KPIs, and documentation. Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors when required. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety, quality, and facility management standards. Support improvement initiatives related to maintenance efficiency, cost control, and service quality. Prepare clear reports on maintenance activities, site observations, and work progress.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.0–3 years of experience in Facilities Management, HVAC, MEP, building maintenance, or O&M. Fresh graduates with strong COOP/internship experience in HVAC, FM, MEP, or building maintenance are welcome to apply. Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, pumps, piping, valves, AHUs, FCUs, chillers, and mechanical building services. Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Good problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and reporting skills. Strong commitment to safety procedures and site work requirements. Willingness to work on-site within building facilities.
Preferred Qualifications Previous experience or training in HVAC maintenance or facilities management. Knowledge of preventive maintenance schedules, CMMS, BMS, SLA/KPI reporting, or FM operations. Experience in hospitals, malls, towers, compounds, airports, universities, or large commercial buildings is a plus.
