Store Manager

  • Set and achieve sales target to maximize his/her store profit through keeping/maintaining complete product range.
  • Manage and support customer service, food safety and hygiene in his/her store with respect to the set standards to ensure consistency and quality of service and products.
  • Monitor and control all store operational expenses within the pre-set corporate norms and standards to meet the store budget and plan cost-effectively.
  • Ensure compliance of the store with all governmental laws and stipulations through constant inspections to eliminate exposing the company to any legal hazards/cases.
  • Build and maintain open and positive relations with all divisions of the company to ensure that company policies and procedures are implemented through proper communication.
  • Train/Motivate store staff with the assistance of the HR Representative and the section managers by constantly assessing their performance and ensuring that they work to their maximum potential to maintain positive employee morale.
  • Anticipate/Propose with the Marketing department the best promotional, advertising and /or merchandising plan to boost sales of his/her store and market share.
  • Ensure that all his/her team are trained according to the training plan set with the HR department to develop their performance and the store’s performance as well.

Skills

  • Bachelor degree in any discipline.
  • 5 years of experience in a retail managerial position.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Good computer skills (Ms. Office).
  •  Ability to motivate, organize and schedule.
  • Decision-making/Problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to create a team environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Customer service oriented and ability to work under stress.
