The Supply Chain Officer will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire supply chain process to ensure the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods from suppliers to customers. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and optimize the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
· Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
· Identify and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and pricing.
· Monitor and forecast demand to ensure sufficient inventory levels and avoid stockouts or overstock situations.
· Coordinate with production, sales, and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
· Oversee the logistics and transportation of goods, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery.
· Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
· Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers.
· Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the supply chain.
· Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance to senior management.
· Continuously assess risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
· Minimum of [4] years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a similar role.
· Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
· Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
· Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
