Primary Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- An opportunity to gain practical work experience by being part of the audit team of large/multinational global and local government and private sectors including financial services industry and regulators, energy and oil and gas, real estate, health care, etc.
- Ability to gain practical knowledge of international accounting and auditing standards, accounting disclosure requirements. etc.
- Opportunity to deliver a high-quality audit, while understanding the business and risks of the entities subject to audit.
- Exposure to document audit works in a technology driven digital platform (Clara) that allows to deliver globally consistent engagements, real time collaboration with clients and transparency and enables to perform data analytics etc.
- Drafting and delivering proposals, preparing engagement agreements, invoicing etc.
- Using a range of research tools, technology, and KPMG knowledge to provide meaningful solutions to any queries raised by clients.
- Building relationships with key client contacts.
- Team building with your colleagues, opportunity to be part of corporate social responsibility activities etc.
Minimum Requirements
- Completed Accountancy / Finance or relevant degree from a local Qatar university.
- Must be residing on Qatar and under family sponsorship.
- Minimum with 3.0 GPA score
- Good communication skills in English and Arabic (Read / Write and Speak)
- No previous employment experience is required although internships would highly advantageous.
- Interest in further pursing the following international professional qualifications such as: CA, ACCA, ACA, CPA
