Profile Middle East is looking for: Engineering Manager.

MISSION:

Responsible for managing and supervising the engineering activities and defining solutions to engineering problems that may arise during construction.

TASKS:

• Leading and managing a team of engineers, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle;
• Overseeing the execution of engineering activities, ensuring adherence to engineering specifications and project timelines;
• Collaborating with project engineers / project managers to achieve project goals;
• Implementing and maintaining quality control measures to ensure that engineering activities meet specified standards;
• Conducting regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with engineering and safety requirements;
• Prioritizing and enforcing safety protocols and practices for engineering activities;
• Conducting safety briefings, risk assessments, and ensuring the implementation of safe work procedures;
• Providing regular updates on project progress, challenges, and resolutions;
• Managing resources efficiently, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support field engineering activities;
• Collaborating with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of required resources.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering;
• 15+ years of experience in the role with a focus on EPC Oil & Gas projects;
• Proven leadership experience in managing numerous engineering teams.

OTHER DETAILS:

• Job Location: Doha, Qatar;
• Contract Duration: Long-term;
• Working schedule: 9 hours x 5 days;
• Starting date: February 2024.
