Senior Ran Optimisation Engineer X6
Role Overview
We are seeking up to 6 experienced Senior RAN Optimisation Engineer to support the delivery and performance improvement of wireless network environments. You will focus on optimisation across multi-technology networks, with a strong emphasis on 5G features and legacy 2G systems. This role requires hands-on expertise in live network environments, the ability to analyse performance data, and confidence operating in customer-facing situations within a fully remote, contract setting.
Key responsibilities
Lead RAN optimisation activities across 2G, 4G and 5G networks, with a focus on performance improvement and stability Optimise 5G features including DSS and voice services such as VoLTE and VoNRAnalyse network KPIs and performance metrics to identify issues and implement corrective actions Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues within live network environments Produce detailed technical documentation, reporting and analysis Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to align optimisation strategies with operational needs Support delivery across deployment and post-deployment optimisation phases
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience in RAN optimisation within live network environments Solid hands-on knowledge of 5G NR features and performance tuning Proven experience with legacy 2G GSM networks Experience working in multi-vendor environments Understanding of DSS, VoLTE, VoNR and key network performance metrics Proven track record operating at senior level within delivery-focused roles Strong communication skills with experience in customer-facing environments
