• Review and discuss with the top management all tenders being tendered by the co.
• Review with the estimation team all cost breakdowns and confirm complying with the tender documents and lesson learned from pervious projects.
• Negotiation the new contracts before signature.
• Follow up all company cash flow , invoicing , variations and claims.
• Prepare commercial reports / Dashboards for the projects and company for the owners.
• Work on development of the procurement procedure for achieving the best value (price, quality and time of delivery).
• Analysis of cost reports for projects and company for any defect in execution or cost allocation.
• Conduct cost related analysis and generate reports on the regular basis to support Projects.
• Ensure effective project implementation and utilize productive reports from the creation of WBS with the use of project management system to monitor the status of all purchases, invoicing and delivery up to the closure of the project.
• Coordinate and work with the project management team to resolve project issues to ensure the delivery/completion of the project work.

Head of Estimation and Proposals Dept

• Analyzing the potential competition and the risk in terms of cost of preparing the proposal, the Probability of winning the contract & scope of work in core business will decide whether to bid.
• Evaluating risk to be raised during project execution during tendering and bidding stage.
• Reviewing & Evaluation of tender documents, drawings, & schedules.
• Breaking the potential project down into manageable tasks. For large projects.
• Preparing specification documents to submit to vendors for quotations of cost/price of materials and equipment and evaluate same against tender specifications to include in final tender documentation.
• Estimating the cost for all manufacturing and erection of the mechanical works in the company scope of work.
• Preparation of technical and commercial proposals and execution schedule and get approval from senior management.
• Follow up with Clients proposals (technical and commercial) till contract negotiations or job lost.
• Preparation of project budgeting and cash flow after the contract award along with order sheet and details proposals identifies how to complete the project within budget.
• Analysis the cost report from fabrication shop or construction sites for better performance in the future for pricing and proposals.
• Review all works done by the junior estimation Engineers before reviewing with the proposals manager and company top management.
• Ensuring that all documentation relevant to the project is retained in a systematic way so that it may be handed over to the project manager at the appropriate time.
• Maintaining ISO documentation, Record Keeping, Suppliers/Manufacturers Data Bank records.

Proposal / Business development Engineer.

Project Services Company Qatar – W.L.L, PSCQ | Qatar

• Market survey to enhance proposals to be within market prices.
• Prequalification of the company for the new clients in the country.
• Perform cost estimates including equipment, materials and labor calculations for final approval.
• Setting up the technical and commercial proposals in line with client requirements and company portfolio within levels of certainty and identification of areas of risk.
• Review and generate Bill of Quantity against system drawings to ensure alignment and to identify materials types & quantities and prepare equipment lists and rough drawings for cost estimation.
• Preparation of the scheduling for the projects during the bidding stage.
• Negotiations with clients till contract award.

Estimation and Proposal Engineer.

PSC (Project Services Company - SAE). | Egypt

• Review of draft tender documents to ensure all systems and components of the tender are included
• Interpret & review of system drawings to identify any difference to tender requirements and raise queries against specification.
• Preparing tender documentation queries to consultants / clients to confirm and collect any missing data including; shipping costs, insurance, and any regional requirements
• Perform cost estimates including equipment, materials and manpower calculations for final approval.
• Preparing cost studies utilizing historical data and productivity analysis of construction operations in support to the tendering process efficiency.
• Setting up the technical and commercial proposals in line with client requirements and company portfolio within levels of certainty and identification of areas of risk.
• Preparing specification documents to submit to vendors for quotations of cost/price of materials and equipment and evaluate same against tender specifications to include in final tender documentation.
• Follow up Company tendering processes and procedures to ensure all aspects of tenders are met including relevant discipline codes and standards.
• Build relationships and liaise with internal customers and external suppliers and vendors and manage daily correspondence for quantities, costs and specifications.

Manufacture Engineer.

ETP Egyptian Tank Plant (Factory 200 of Military Production) | Egypt

• Manufacture Engineer in CNC machining department where the main machining processes of the M1A1 tank and the huge unmilitary works to be machined and different types of machining centers are available and working with full capacity.
• Preparing the shop drawings for each stage of manufacturing by using CAD-program.
• Preparation of the technical data required for machining works such as choosing the required tooling for all operations (inserted cutters, carbide, cobalt, HSS …) and calculating the optimum cutting speeds, cutting feeds, depth of cut, adjust the tool offsets for the length and diameter.
• Design and make the required fixtures for machining the parts to reduce number of settings and total time of the part on machine.
• Working with the American manufacturing engineers in Programming the CNC machines.
• Working with quality to achieve the product requirements.
• Working with the quality assurance to solve the production problems.
• Apply the international standards for total quality according to ISO 9001.
