<p>We are seeking an experienced HSE Engineer to manage Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) activities for Transmission Line EPC projects. The candidate will be responsible for implementing HSE policies, ensuring compliance with international safety standards, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a strong safety culture across project sites.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Implement and monitor the Project HSE Management Plan in accordance with company policies and client requirements.</li><li>Ensure compliance with local regulations, international HSE standards, and project-specific safety requirements.</li><li>Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments for transmission line construction activities.</li><li>Monitor high-risk activities including excavation, foundation works, tower erection, conductor stringing, OPGW installation, lifting operations, working at height, and electrical works.</li><li>Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA), and Toolbox Talks.</li><li>Ensure proper implementation of Permit to Work (PTW) systems and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures where applicable.</li><li>Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).</li><li>Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure compliance with site safety requirements.</li><li>Organize HSE induction programs, safety training sessions, emergency response drills, and awareness campaigns.</li><li>Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports and maintain all statutory safety documentation.</li><li>Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors on HSE compliance and audits.</li><li>Ensure proper environmental management, waste disposal practices, pollution control, and sustainability initiatives at project sites.</li><li>Promote a proactive safety culture through continuous monitoring and employee engagement initiatives.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Degree/Diploma in Industrial Safety or NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certification.</p><p>78 years of experience in HSE management for Transmission Line or Power Transmission EPC projects.</p><p>Experience in projects ranging from 66kV to 765kV transmission lines is preferred.</p><p>Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.</p><p>Familiarity with international HSE regulations and client safety requirements.</p><p>Excellent communication, leadership, and incident investigation skills.</p><p>Willingness to work at international project sites on rotational assignments.</p>
